The Detachable Grid offers the operator the ability to attach any pack that attaches via MOLLE to the Grid, thus making any pack into a detachable pack. While packs can also be attached via MOLLE directly to the back of our AJAC, there are many benefits in being able to retrieve your own gear from your own pack. The Detachable Grid combines these benefits with the pack of your choice that best suites your mission requirements.
The Detachable Grid utilizes a series of buckles that can quickly be unbuckled to completely remove the bag from the rear plate bag. The bag can then be hastily reattached to the rear plate bag once you’ve gotten what you need or it’s time to go. The buckles can be found on both shoulders and one around the waist to secure the bottom.
NOTE:
Some people ask why the waist strap wraps around your waist instead of attaching somewhere on the cummerbund. We have run this in the real world, and the waist strap around the waist is the most ideal way to run it for 3 reasons:
If the waist strap routes over the cummerbund, it makes all gear on the cummerbund much more difficult to get to.
If the waist strap routes over the cummerbund and gear is removed from the cummerbund (like a mag from a mag pouch) the waist strap will now be looser, because the overall thickness of the cummerbund that the waist strap was adjusted to has now changed.
If the waist strap routes over the cummerbund and gear is removed from the cummerbund (like a mag from a mag pouch) it would be extremely difficult to re-index the mag into the mag pouch. This is to say that it would make a tactical reload near impossible.
Running one singular waist strap is the fastest way to reattach the Detachable Grid to your Plate Bags.

Miscellaneous gear like GP pouches or Medical gear can also be attached in lieu of a pack.
Designed in conjunction with our AJAC Plate Bags to ensure the Detachable Grid shoulder straps run perfectly in line over the AJAC shoulder straps. This ensures the weight of whatever is attached to the Detachable Grid is helped carried / cushioned by the AJAC shoulder straps.
Hardware is removable incase you want to switch the shoulder QASM buckles for something like G-Hooks.
3/16” Holes provided all over for running 550 cord or 1/8” Shock cord for attaching miscellaneous gear to the Grid.
All Javlin products are made in the USA using Mil-Spec, Berry Compliant materials.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS:
We gladly accept all returns on the condition that the items being returned are in NEW condition. We cannot accept used, damaged, or laundered items.
Items must be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase.
All items will be carefully inspected before issuing a refund.
Customer is responsible for any and all shippings costs.
Returns made outside of the 30 day window are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
